Lanzarote tourism figures December 2024
In December last year Lanzarote recorded over 325,000 tourists according to the Lanzarote Data Centre which brings last year’s total to over 3.4 million tourists.
The Centro de Datos is a great source for all things Lanzarote data, and they have just published December 2024 tourism numbers.
The tourist figures for December 2024 are as follows:
Spain – 21,972
Germany – 52,616
Belgium – 4,350
France – 18,918
Netherlands – 9,004
Ireland – 26,134
Italy – 8,628
Nordic Countries – 10,204
United Kingdom – 159,513
Other – 15,488
TOTAL – 326,827
LANZAROTE’S 2024
In 2024, Lanzarote recorded a total of 3.4 million tourists. The United Kingdom remained the islands most popular foreign market with over 1.7 million Brits arriving on the island last year.
They are followed by Ireland (358,694), Germany (349,450), and France (235,883).
The Italian, Nordic and Spanish markets are the only ones to have recorded a decrease in visitors in 2024, compared to the previous year, while others continued to grow.
